Ever since he was a young boy visiting his grandfather's harness shop, Daniel has been intrigued by the techniques and skills needed to work with leather.  That interest, combined with his passion to enjoy excellent  fitting boots, was how Borntrager's Boots was born.  

Daniel measures each foot to ensure that each boot will be perfectly comfortable.  Instead of using nails that have potential to rust and eat away the leather, Daniel uses wooden pegs and tempered steel shanks for a durable and classic product.
